Principal Investments focus on providing equity capital for buyouts and growth transactions, with an investment size in the range of US$10 – 100m. Our team comprise individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and extensive experience in private equity, industrial, consulting, financial and legal fields. Together, they have the sector knowledge and experience to execute transactions across the region. They play an active role in assisting and empowering management of investee companies to unlock potentialand yield substantial returns. 

Our ethos is to tailor transactions to meet the specific financial requirements of our stakeholders. We aim to acquire minority or majority stakes, preferably with board representation, in companies that have well established market positions, proven business models and the potential to expand beyond their current capacity and distribution networks. We are committed to achieving the best short to medium term performance from our investments with an average holding period of 3 to 5 years.

Our Principal Investments team is divided into Private Equity and Strategic Investments. Private Equity focuses on investment opportunities in the healthcare, real estate and industrial sectors. Strategic Investments focuses on more longer-term investments in the energy and financial services sectors.
